Jim Tarantino

James (Jim) Tarantino

Born 2-13-1958

Passing: 1-15-2024 (age 65)

Devoted father of Salvatore, Michael, and Ava.  Jim was the glue that held his family together.  Jim joined the Pompeii Men’s Club years ago and was a great asset to our club.  His knowledge and sense of business dealings helped the Pompeii Men’s Club in many ways.   We are better people because we knew him and his graces touched us deeply.  Nothing was more important to him than his faith in GOD and his commitment to his family.  His commitment to the community was as much a part of him as anything else.  Jim relished Sunday night dinners with the family and preparing the meal for them.  Jim was the influencer who pushed the new Saint Rita’s Church to resemble the old Pompeii pink Church.  Jim felt he was honoring his parents by doing that and a way to say thank you to them.

Jim lead by example and helped many people start their careers and weather tough times. He prayed that his actions, modest as he said they were, might spur others to help make the community a better place for all to live. He was especially committed to the leadership, employees, associates, and care givers who make Capri Communities and Tarantino and Company such special places that do very special things.  Jim was in the business of taking care of people. Today, thousands of Wisconsinites live happier, healthier, and better lives because of his work.
