POMPEII MEN'S CLUB
The sign reads POMPEII SQUARE. Many people have driven past this tiny strip of green space while exiting 794 on their way to Summer-fest or the Milwaukee Art Museum. Many may have wondered.. 'What is that?'
Actually, it is where the first and only Italian church in the City of Milwaukee where once stood "THE BLESSED VIRGIN OF POMPEII CHURCH" which was also known as the little pink church.
Though the efforts of THE POMPEII MEN'S CLUB a non-profit organization, formed in 1968 in by a small group of holy name society men from the church established this square to perpetuate the memory of their childhood church and symbolic of their faith, spirit and ethnic background.The club's motto is "Together in Unity," and has approximately 124 active and non-active members, who are men in the religious life, attorneys, judges, people in public office and men who wish to carry on the traditions of the founders of the club.

The focus of the club is to raise funds for scholarships for underprivileged children entering Catholic High School. All money collected stays in the Greater Milwaukee Area.
